About Sr. Baptista Battig Music Foundation

Sr. Baptista Battig Music Foundation was named after Sister Baptista Battig, OSB — the founder of the Conservatory of Music of St. Scholastica’s College which pioneered music education the Philippines.

Battig Chamber Orchestra was formed to introduce a fusion of Classical and Pinoy Pop Music. It is an ensemble of scholars, alumni and classically-trained musicians.



SB19 is a five-member boy group composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin.

The group is in the forefront of promoting Filipino Pop Music and Culture.

They are the first and only Filipino and South East Asian group to be nominated in the US Billboard Music Awards.

4th Impact

4th Impact is a Filipino girl group composed of four sisters from Santiago City, Isabela,
Philippines. Formerly known as Cercado Sisters, Gollayan Sisters, MICA (initials of their
names), and 4th Power.

Finally known as 4th Impact, when they made it on The X Factor UK
in 2015.

Their X Factor UK audition video of Jessie J’s song Bang Bang on Youtube is
currently the most viewed video of all time in the history of The X Factor UK with over 178
million views and counting as of writing.

Nicole Pugeda and Isaac Iglesias

The duo Nicole Pugeda and Isaac Iglesias are both graduates of the St. Scholastica's College of Music.

Nicole, lyric soprano and opera singer has garnered distinction at the National Music Competition for Young Artists, Voice Category C last 2017 winning second prize. Isaac is a classical singer and is the current choral conductor of the SSC Chamber Choir who has been under his baton for three years.

They were recently awarded in the 2021 Ani ng Dangal awards and was recognized for their gold prize-winning participation in the ASEAN Music Fesitival held in Hai Phong, Vietnam last 2019. They both perform with the Viva Voce Voice Lab, and have been in Operas and Zarzuwelas such as: La Traviata (2016), Walang Sugat (2018), The Magic Flute (2019), and Lucia Di Lammermoor (2020).
